julie burton is currently a junior at the university of mary washington in fredericksburg, va. she is working towards a bachelors of science degree in environmental science.
music is very important to julie. she believes it has the ability to alter moods, facilitate emotion, and create memories. the blog julie has created is meant to capture these capabilities of music by allowing her to share her experiences with certain songs and bands, and also introduce up-and-coming bands. “tell all your friends” is a place where people are able share the experiences they have had with music and maybe come across a new band that will inspire them.
the environment is julie’s passion, as she believes protecting it is the key to a sustainable and healthy future. her page entitled “mother earth” brings to light the impact humans have had on our planet and what will be its fate if we continue to live as we do. julie is focusing on the social aspects of the environmental science major, and hopes to work with the environmental protection agency one day.
